ITscope Function Server

Overview

The ITscope Function Server is a software solution that can be integrated into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It enables the import of items via a .NET interface. This functionality is provided through a series of web services that temporarily store ITscope items on a server and subsequently import them into Business Central. The ITscope Function Server is available both as an on-premise installation and in a cloud version.

Cloud Version

The cloud version of the ITscope Function Server offers a simple deployment without the need for local server configurations. You benefit from high availability, automatic updates, and scalability ensured by the cloud infrastructure. Additionally, there is no need to manage hardware or software maintenance. Therefore, we recommend using the cloud version.

Business Central Configuration

No local installations are required to use the cloud version. The connection to Business Central is made directly through the cloud.

Configuration of the ITscope Function Server in Business Central

• Open the "ITscope Setup" page in your Business Central application.

• Enter the appropriate URL in the "Function Server URL" field:
  •https://mse365functions.azurewebsites.net/

• In the "File Lifetime (in minutes)" field, specify how long the data should remain stored on the server. After the specified time, the data will be automatically deleted.

• The X-API key must be filled in.
  •The X-API key is assigned by mse Software GmbH.
